This is an interesting story on so many levels, but one thing that I was thinking about while reading it is that there is a genuine problem in the UK with people obtaining jobs using bogus educational qualifications. Disturbingly, these are sometimes medical qualifications. The BBC is running a story today about the problems banks have with people using fake overseas passports to open accounts, but I think having fake doctors, nurses, dentists etc is overall a much worse problem.
