The Emergent Chaos of Kutiman
So when someone sent me a link to “The Mother of all Funk Chords,” they didn’t explain it, and I didn’t quite get what I was watching.
What I was watching:
…is a mash up of videos found on YouTube, turned into an entire album by an Israeli artist, Kutiman.
Wow. Beauty in chaos. Thank you for sharing that, Adam — it made my morning. (Oooh, and I liked the little snippets with the theremin.)
I admit this is pretty cool. But, how is this fundamentally different than what Art of Noise did 20+ years ago? Using “new media” doesn’t count as “fundamentally different.” That’s a difference in degree not kind.
