The "Seal" that Doesn't
From this photoessay, it appears that the seal Diebold places on its electronic voting machines doesn’t do a darn thing. It is possible to remove the card from which the thing boots, and replace it with one of your choosing, leaving no trace — the seal itself remains unchanged. Elapsed time, a bit over four minutes.
I bet an experience copier repair tech could do it in less than a minute!
